Our Priorities

Hold industry accountable

Industry has exploited low-income communities of color for generations at every stage of the life cycle of plastics. It’s important to hold these companies responsible for the environment, climate, and public health injustices they have caused and accountable to the communities they have harmed.

This is Azul

They are a long-term resident of the neighborhood and have become a community organizer.

Azul goes on runs around his neighborhood and notices the air from plastic refineries makes it hard for them to breathe.

They read in the paper around a “clean air act” but sees no changes in their neighborhood.

They demand for local government to remove the plastic refineries, fine the industries and listen to community members.

Against the industries, Azul meets with organizations and local officials to act on the promises made for cleaner environments.
