Our Priorities

Invest in environmental justice community-led solutions, divest from false solutions

By prioritizing frontline communities, who are the most impacted and where many zero-waste solutions are already underway, we can accelerate the transition towards sustainable practices and contribute significantly to ending the reliance on plastics.

We must also critically assess industry-backed  “solutions” that are often profit-driven and still harmful to workers and our communities.

This is Angel

They are a long-term resident of the neighborhood and community organizer

Angel sees may of her neighbors are being displaced by a new landfill and plastic production factory.

They organize with other people in the neighborhood and find many community members are experiencing health effects along with displacement.

Angel meets with EJCAP and calls officials to remediate the land and make it a community space.

Angel uses funding to make it a community garden along with the help of her neighbors

Members of EJCAP help the community call their local representatives to remove the incinerator from the neighborhood.
